Dehradun : The goal of making 100 percent Ayushman Cards in the state is to be achieved: Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat

Dehradun. State Health Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat reviewed the Ayushman Scheme today at the State Health Authority office. He instructed the officials to achieve 100% target of making Ayushman cards. He also inspected various sections of Ayushman Yojana.
In the meeting, Health Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat said that it is very important to make 100 percent Ayushman cards in the state. Said that if Ayushman cards have been made for half the population, then it is injustice to the half of the population whose cards have not been made yet and who are deprived of the benefits of the scheme when needed. He said that apart from ration card, focus should be on other options in the card so that this problem can be resolved in the cabinet. Besides, instructions were also given to look into the arrangements given in Ladakh and Jammu Kashmir for better implementation. On this occasion, the Honorable Minister talked to the Chief Executive Officer of the National Health Authority and also consulted on options other than ration cards in making Ayushman Card. He instructed the officials to do homework on the system of making Ayushman card from the copy of family register in rural areas so that proper arrangements can be made smoothly by bringing it in the cabinet.
On this occasion, Chief Executive Officer of the State Health Authority, Dr. Anand Srivastava said that the data of the beneficiaries for whom new ration cards have been made is not showing on the portal, due to which even after having the ration card, there are problems in making the Ayushman card. Data should be shown on real time. The minister talked about solving this problem as soon as possible. He said that the government is committed to public health. Apart from this, the issue of asking about the condition of elderly beneficiaries and providing them health services at home and free pathology facility was also discussed in the meeting.On this occasion, Director Finance Sanjeev Kumar Singh, Dr. Vinod Tolia, Atul Joshi etc. were present.
