Dehradun : In Uttarakhand, more than 100 employees posted in the Department of Women Empowerment and Child Development have been removed in one order.
Umbrella Mission Shakti has been started by the Central Government for women empowerment, security and protection. The Center has issued new guidelines in this regard. In view of which this decision was taken. The department terminated the services of employees working through contract, outsourced and other means in the schemes of Women Empowerment and Child Development Department. In the order issued by the Deputy Director of the department, SK Singh, it has been said that the schemes already being run by the Central Government, including One Stop Center, National Women’s Helpline, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, Ujjwala, Working Women’s Hostel, Pradhan Mantri Vandana Yojana, will be implemented under various schemes.
For this, human resources are employed through outsource, contract and other means. In this matter, it has been decided that the acceptance of the employees working in these schemes will be valid only till 30 November 2022. Their services will not be taken after this date. Contractual and outsourced employees removed from Women Empowerment and Child Development Department said in a letter to the Chief Minister that all this has been done to benefit the outsourced company. They have been removed under a conspiracy. There are no such guidelines from the Central Government. They said that any scheme is run for five years. Whose term can be extended, but before that they are being removed.
