Dehradun: Effectively check illegal mining, transportation and storage of minerals in the state :Chief Secretary

Dehradun : Chief Secretary Dr. S.S. Sandhu has given strict instructions to the officers to effectively check illegal mining, transportation and storage of minerals in the state. In his order issued to the Director General of Police, Principal Chief Conservator of Forests, Director General Geology and Mining Unit and all the District Magistrates, the Chief Secretary, on the order issued earlier for effective prevention and complete control of illegal mining, transportation and storage of minerals. Orders have been given to make available the action and implementation report without any delay.

The Chief Secretary said that illegal mining, transportation and storage of minerals should be effectively prevented and curbed completely. Strict action will be taken against the erring officers and employees.
