Dehradun : Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and CM Dhami performed Bhoomi Pujan at Guniyal Village for ‘Sainik Dham’

• Grand Military Shrine (Sainya Dham) to be built at a cost of 63 crores, ‘Bhumi Pujan’ done
• Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami performed Bhoomi Pujan at Guniyal Village, Dehradun for Sainik Dham 
• Shaheed Samman Yatra was also duly concluded

Dehradun : Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Wednesday performed the Bhoomi Pujan of the grand Sainik Dham built at a cost of about Rs 63 crore at Guniyal village, Dehradun. The Shaheed Samman Yatra was also duly concluded on this occasion. The sacred soil brought by the Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and the Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami from the courtyard of every martyr family of the state was put in the urn for the purpose of Sainik Dham. Along with this, he was honored by meeting the families of the brave martyrs and by giving them Shaurya Samman Patra.

Sainik Dham {Military Dham} will be built as per the vision of the Prime Minister-

Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh while paying homage to the martyrs said that it is our cultural tradition that those who lay down their lives for the country are considered godlike. Uttarakhand is the land of Dev Bhoomi, Tapobhoomi, valor and might. According to the dreams of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the fifth Dham Sainik Dham is being built in Uttarakhand. The sacred soil of the courtyard of the martyr soldiers has been brought to the Sainik Dham. According to the expectation from the Uttarakhand government, the work of building the Sainik Dham/Military Dham is going on. He said that Late Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji had given the status of a separate state to this state. Heroic soldiers protect the pride of the country-

The Union Defence Minister said that our martyrs never back down to protect the pride of the country. He said that such people who have sacrificed their lives for the unity and integrity of the national, the soil of their courtyard is a proud moment to come here. Whoever comes to this military dham (Sainik Dham), he will take the inspiration of the valor saga of the martyrs. Describing Uttarakhand as the land of heroes, he condoled the death of CDS General Bipin Rawat. The passing of General Bipin Rawat in this way is a great loss for India.

Government committed to protect the interests of soldiers-

Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has done the work of grand reconstruction of Kedar Puri. India is being reunited with its cultural roots under the leadership of the Prime Minister. He said that every effort was made by the Central Government to solve the problems of soldiers, ex-servicemen and their families. The Defence Minister said that the problem of One Rank One Pension, which was the problem of our ex-servicemen, was solved by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Every effort has been made by the government for the problems of soldiers and their families. Battle Casualty has been increased from 02 Lakh to 08 Lakh. Continuous efforts have been made by the government to solve every problem of ex-servicemen also. Whatever has to be done for the honor of the soldiers, the government is always ready for that. The Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said that road, rail and air connectivity has expanded rapidly in Uttarakhand. Dharchula- Lipulekh-Mansarovar has become the way to go. This route is very important from the cultural point of view. He said that between India and Nepal, there is an unbreakable relationship of bread and daughter. He said that according to the resolve of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India is becoming self-reliant in defence related fields. Today our army is standing with full capability on every front. India is emerging as a strong and powerful India in the world.

CM Pushkar Singh Dhami is a fast bowler along with a strong batsman

The Union Defence Minister said that Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami is not only a formidable batsman but also a fast bowler. He is an all-rounder in the field of development. Large scale development work has been done. Under his leadership, Uttarakhand will become a leading state in every field in 2024.

Two minutes silence was observed on the death of Group Captain Varun Singh.

Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami paid tribute on receiving information about the death of Group Captain Varun Singh. Two minutes silence was also observed in the honor of Group Captain Varun Singh.

The sacred soil of the martyr’s courtyard was brought to the military shrine (Sainik Dham)

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami remembered General Bipin Rawat ji and said that he was dedicated to the country till his last breath. The Chief Minister said that he had a program to visit his father’s regiment Mahar Regiment with Bipin Rawat ji. General Rawat had some dreams about Uttarakhand, which the state government is ready to fulfill. The Chief Minister said that today under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji and Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh ji, the honor of the country’s army has increased. The brave soldiers have been given full freedom to respond to the enemies. The Chief Minister said that the State Government is constructing Sainik Dham with full dedication. 1734 Sacred soil has been brought from the homes of the martyrs. The grand military dham will inspire the youth to serve the nation. Uttarakhand has given military land to each and every brave soldier who is dedicating his life for the pride of the country. The honor of brave soldiers is the most important thing for us. The Chief Minister said that being a soldier’s son, he knows very well the pain and suffering of the military families. Our government will remember the soldiers every moment. The person standing at the last end is determined to take the benefits of development.

India becoming self-reliant in defence equipment-

Union Minister of State for Defence Ajay Bhatt said that a grand military Dham (Sainya Dham) would be built in Uttarakhand as per the spirit of Prime Minister  Narendra Modi. Under the leadership of the Prime Minister, India has become self-reliant in the manufacture of defence equipment. Earlier India used to import defence equipment, today defence equipment is also being exported from India.
Sainik Welfare Minister Ganesh Joshi said that every fifth soldier in the country’s army is from Uttarakhand. A grand military Sainya Dham is being constructed at a cost of Rs 63 crore. A month-long Shaheed Samman Yatra was organized from November 15 to December 15. Sacred soil was collected from the houses of 1734 martyrs in the state. This sacred soil will be used in military dham (Sainya Dham). We cannot bring back any martyr, but it is our utmost responsibility to respect the martyrs and take care of their families. The state government is fulfilling this responsibility with full devotion. The state government is adjusting one member of the family of martyr soldiers in a government job. Military honor amount has increased manifold. The Prime Minister fulfilled the great demand of the soldiers for One Rank One Pension.
