Dehradun : The Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that with his strong vitality, he works to create history which gives direction to the society in various fields. He said that those who inspire the society also get the blessings of the society. The respect of the one who gives direction to the society is the respect of the whole society. Honoring those who gave direction to the society through commendable contribution in the field of health, education, women empowerment, entrepreneurship, sports and social service at the Youth Icon Award Ceremony in the auditorium, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that by being honored, our society would be better. The responsibility increases even more. Those who are honored are actually the true leaders of the society, who work to show the direction and way to everyone. The Chief Minister said that youth is the one who tries to make possible the impossible task like connecting earth with sky and extracting oil from sand.
The Chief Minister said that Swami Vivekananda has said that Arise, wake up and do not stop till the goal is achieved. Man is a storehouse of energy. Whatever he wants to do, he can achieve by setting a goal. The Chief Minister said that we can be successful in life only when there is no alternative in our resolve. Having options in the resolution can deviate from the path of success. He said that our youth will work to fulfill the dreams of India in the 21st century. Referring to the efforts being made for the overall development of the state, the Chief Minister said that we are all partners and partners in the overall development of the state. In line with the vision of the Prime Minister, we are constantly striving to make Uttarakhand one of the leading states of the country in 2025. Home stay scheme is being promoted to promote tourism in the state. Subsidy has been increased under tourism self-employment schemes. Air services are being expanded. For this, 18 percent tax exemption has been given on aviation turbo fuel.
The Chief Minister said that with the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and with the cooperation of the Central Government, many such works have been done in the State which earlier seemed impossible. Modi ji has made the dream of reaching the rail on the mountain come true. Today, the work on Rishikesh-Karnprayag rail project and strategically and geographically important Tanakpur-Bageshwar rail project is progressing rapidly. Similarly, work is also being done on Char Dham All Weather Road, Bharat Mala Project at a fast pace. Char Dham Yatra is the lifeline for Uttarakhand and these projects will facilitate Char Dham Yatra, promote tourism and bring revolutionary changes in our economy. Delhi Dehradun Expressway is going to further reduce the distance from Dehradun to Delhi.
The Chief Minister said that Kashi Vishwanath Dham has been rejuvenated. Ram temple is being constructed in Ayodhya, Kedarnath reconstruction work is in the final stage. The foundation stone of 400 crore schemes has been inaugurated by the Prime Minister here. A plan of 250 crores has been made for the beautification of Badrinath Dham. In this way, the work of upliftment of the ancient culture is being done in the country. He said that we all have our own role in the development of the country and the state. In this direction also we all have to be cooperative.
