Dehradun : CM chaired a meeting of Board of Governance of GB Pant Institute of Engineering and Technology, Pauri, Decisions taken on various subjects related to the institute
Dehradun : Under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, a meeting of the Board of Governance of Govind Ballabh Pant Institute of Engineering and Technology, Pauri Garhwal was held at the Chief Minister’s residence on Saturday. It was decided in the meeting that a recommendation committee should be constituted to examine the facts in the case of the suspended total secretary of the institute, Sandeep Kumar. In this committee, Director of the Institute, Registrar, Finance Controller along with Additional Secretary Justice will be members.
Along with this, it was also decided to refer the matter related to implementation of staffing pattern in the institute, appointment of personnel on outsource basis to the government. On the arrangement of sending teachers working in the institute for MTech and PhD, upgradation of the post of Training and Placement Officer, nomination of members in the finance committee of the institute as well as implementation of state government health scheme in the institute etc. The consent of the meeting of the Board of Governance was also given.
On this occasion Additional Chief Secretary Radha Raturi, Hari Singh Director Technical Education, Dr. RPS Gangwar, Professor Gobind Ballabh University of Agriculture and Technology Pantnagar, Dr. M.M. Rauthan Prof. H.N.B. Central University Srinagar Garhwal, Dr. Yatindra Nath Singh Professor Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, Dr. V.M. Black Professor G.B.P. Institute of Engineering and Technology Pauri, Pankaj Gupta, President, Industry Association, Uttarakhand, Joint Secretary Sanjay Tolia, Officer on Special Duty to Chief Minister S.P.S. Rawat etc. were present. BOG Member Secretary and Director G.B.P. The meeting was conducted by the Institute of Engineering and Technology and the work plan of the institute was presented.
