Dehradun : Chief Minister Dhami reviewed the rescue work related to Covid-19

Dehradun : Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami reviewed the arrangements related to the rescue of Covid-19 Omicron variants after a cabinet meeting at the Secretariat late in the evening on Friday. The Chief Minister asked all the in-charge ministers to visit the districts and take stock of the situation in this regard.

The Chief Minister has also directed to organize a high level meeting on December 31 after reviewing the districts in this regard. Along with this, the officers have also been instructed to review the situation continuously in this regard. In this regard, Secretary Health Dr. Pankaj Kumar Pandey informed that a total of 27186 isolation beds are available in the state for COVID-19 treatment. A total of 13674 oxygen support beds are available in the state, out of which 6572 oxygen support beds have been reserved for the treatment of COVID-19 if required. A total of 2113 ICU beds are available in the state, out of which 1655 ICU beds have been reserved for the treatment of COVID-19 if required. A total of 1451 ventilators are available in the state, out of which 1016 ventilators have been reserved for the treatment of COVID-19 if required. A total of 532 ambulances are available in the state. A total of 22420 oxygen cylinders, 9828 oxygen concentrators, 71 oxygen generation plants are functional in the state. Apart from this, the work of setting up 17 oxygen generation plants is in progress.

On this occasion, Cabinet Ministers  Bishan Singh Chufal, Subodh Uniyal, Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat, Swami Yatheeswaranand, Chief Secretary Dr. S.S. Sandhu, Additional Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan, Secretary Amit Negi, Secretary  Shailesh Bagoli, Director General of Police Ashok Kumar etc. were present.
