Dehradun : An MoU was signed between “Ellara Foundation” London, “Royal Free London National Health Service Foundation Trust” Hospital and District Hospital Champawat in the presence of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Saturday at the Chief Minister’s residence. Along with this, the career counseling portal ukcareers.in was launched for the youth of Uttarakhand in the program. During this, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami while congratulating all the representatives said that he sincerely hoped that this initiative would prove to be effective for the betterment of health facilities in Champawat district of the state. The Chief Minister said that the State Government is giving special emphasis on the process of simplification in every area for the convenience of the people so that maximum benefit can be given to the people. During this, Dr. Tripti Bahuguna, Director General of Health, informed that for the first time in India, the prestigious London Hospital “Royal Free London National Health Service” will conduct an action program along with telemedicine and virtual OPD at District Hospital Champawat in Uttarakhand. With this, the exchange of modern technology related to health will be done in both the countries.
During this, Raj Bhatt, CEO of Elara Foundation, Debashish Ghosh, representative of Royal Free London Hospital, actor Dilip Tahil, Prof. Durgesh Pant and others were present.
