Dehradun : Under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, a cabinet meeting was held on Monday evening at Veer Chandra Singh Garhwali Auditorium. The cabinet has given its nod to scrap the Devasthanam Board. The proposal to cancel the board will now be placed on the table of the assembly. Along with this, the old systems will be implemented. Under this Badrinath Kedarnath Temple Committee will come into existence. The Dhami government has also approved giving the benefit of seventh pay commission to ex-servicemen.
According to the money deposited in the Nazul policy, now the beneficiaries will be able to get the ownership rights. Now, free of cost medicines will be given in all government hospitals, health centers etc. of Uttarakhand. If any doctor is found prescribing medicine outside, then show cause notice will also be given. It has also been decided to regularize contract workers in polytechnic centers. The cabinet has decided that guest teachers will now be posted in their native districts only.
Earlier, CM Pushkar Singh Dhami had taken the decision to repeal the Devasthanam Board. It was also announced. After the announcement of the CM, a proposal to repeal the Act was brought to the cabinet on Monday. After the Act is repealed from the cabinet, now the bill will be withdrawn in the assembly. After this the Devasthanam Board will be duly dissolved. With the dissolution of the Board, the previous circumstances will apply. Arrangements will be made for this also. Under this, the system of BKTC will be implemented.
The pilgrims and right-handers of the Char Dhams have welcomed the consent of the cabinet to announce the withdrawal of the Uttarakhand Char Dham Devasthanam Management Bill 2019. The pilgrimage priests and priests of the Char Dham said that certainly the decision of the government is historic and bold. Mahapanchayat spokesperson Dr Brijesh Sati said that on November 30, the Chief Minister had announced to withdraw the Char Dham Devasthanam Management Bill.
In the same sequence, the cabinet has approved the withdrawal of this bill. For this the priests, priests, rawals and priests of the four Dhams thank the Dhami cabinet. Dr. Sati said that they demand from the government the way this act was passed by the state assembly on December 10, 2019. The day should be made historic by taking back this act on the same day. Those with 100 square meters of land will get the benefit. In cities, if a building is built on 100 square meters of land, or if it is to be built, then water connection will be available for just Rs 100. The cabinet has decided to provide water connection for Rs.100. Till now, the rule of giving water connection in rural areas for Re 1 was made. The government had announced to provide water connections in cities for Rs 100.
It was also approved by the cabinet. In Jal Jeevan Mission Rural, water connection is being provided at Re. There was no restriction on the area of the land. The area of land has been fixed to give relief to the common people in the cities. Buildings built on 100 square meters of land will be given water connection for Rs 100.
