Dehradun: 5.46 billion spent so far on free treatment of the people of the state
Public awareness has increased even in remote villages regarding the benefits of Ayushman Yojana

Dehradun: State Health Authority’s amount of 5.46 billion is not a small amount. This amount is what the state government has spent on the free treatment of its residents suffering from the disease. This figure of expenditure is increasing day by day. This figure has also stamped that Ayushman Yojana is not only the state and the country but the biggest health scheme in the world.
Here we are talking about the state’s Ayushman scheme run by the state health authority. According to the data received till December 4, 2021, more than Rs 546 crore has been spent by the state government on the free treatment of the card holder patients of Ayushman Yojana. This colossal figure of billions is as big as it is comforting. Because apparently this amount has come in handy in the bad times of some needy. In the time of crisis, lakhs of people were encouraged by this, and in a life surrounded by sickness, they again blossomed with the radiance of health.
The people of the state have also become aware about the very welfare scheme of Ayushman. Hundreds of people are making cards every day. Due to the spread on social media, awareness about the scheme has been ignited among people even in remote villages. So far, Ayushman cards of more than 45.20 lakh beneficiaries have been made in the state.
In the state, 221 hospitals including government and private hospitals are empaneled under Ayushman Yojana. And the benefit of this scheme can be taken in more than 27 thousand hospitals across the country. The good thing is that people from outlying provinces are taking advantage of this scheme.
