Dehradun : Chief Secretary Dr. S. S. Sandhu chaired a meeting regarding the ‘Family Identity Card in Uttarakhand’ i.e. Parivar Pahchan Patra (PPP) scheme at the secretariat on Wednesday.
On behalf of the Planning Department, Rohit Meena, Additional Secretary Planning, gave a detailed presentation before the Chief Secretary on the implementation of the scheme.
During the meeting, the Chief Secretary instructed the officers that the work on the implementation of the Parivar Pehchan Patra scheme should be started at the earliest. He said that for successful implementation of the scheme, all departments should collect all types of data with mutual cooperation. Which data is needed from which department, its format should be prepared in the next 2-3 days and demanded from all the departments. Action should be taken to link the database of various departments for the successful implementation of the Parivar Pehchan Patra and to fulfill the objectives. He also directed the departments to appoint nodal officers for providing departmental data so that the scheme could be implemented expeditiously.
The Chief Secretary said that the departments which have to collect data should collect all types of data with mutual cooperation. Along with fixing the time line at each level for data collection, he instructed to prepare the format before the survey. Along with this, instructions were also given to prepare a portal and fill the data at the block level. He said that along with creating a dedicated cell for this, adequate manpower should be arranged. Continuous monitoring should be done so that there is no scope for errors in data collection. Surprise inspections should be done at field level.
Additional Secretary Planning Mr. Rohit Meena told that Family Identity Card Uttarakhand Yojana will be helpful for residents of Uttarakhand in ease of living/doing in various certificates and beneficiary-oriented schemes. He said that due to the issuance of Family Identity Card, Uttarakhand, there will be no separate requirement of caste, income, residence or disabled identity card. Its complete data will be available in the Family Identity Card, Uttarakhand.
On this occasion, Additional Chief Secretary Mr. Anand Bardhan, Principal Secretary Mr. L. Fanai, Secretary Mr. R.K. Meenakshi Sundaram, Mr. Nitesh Jha, Mr. V.V.R. C. Purushottam, Dr. Pankaj Kumar Pandey, Mr. Ravinath Raman and Dr. R. Rajesh Kumar and other high officials were present.
