Dehradun: (Manoj Rautela) Chief Secretary Radha Raturi has directed to finalize the SOP soon regarding the Aero Medical Service to be started from AIIMS Rishikesh. CS Mrs. Raturi has asked AIIMS Rishikesh to prepare the final SOP in coordination with all the District Magistrates, CMOs, District Disaster Management Officers and other stakeholders and send it to the Health Department. The Chief Secretary has directed that in the SOP, pregnant women in critical condition in remote areas of the state who need immediate emergency medical service should get the benefit of AIIMS’ heli emergency medical services on top priority. AIIMS Rishikesh informed that the SOP of Aero Medical Service has been prepared. Heli Emergency Medical Service Call Center has been established. Work is in progress on quality improvement of helpline audit procedures. Work is being done on capacity building of AIIMS medical staff and team. Additional Secretary Sonika, Namami Bansal and Director AIIMS Rishikesh were present in the meeting through virtual medium.
