New Delhi: India has started retaliatory action… Late Tuesday night, India has destroyed 9 terrorist hideouts in Pakistan and Pakistan occupied Kashmir. Let us tell you, in response to the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, India has carried out a major military action named ‘Operation Sindoor’. Indian armed forces carried out precision attacks on terrorist hideouts in Pakistan and Pakistan occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK) late Tuesday night. Its aim was to destroy those terrorist camps which were engaged in planning and carrying out attacks on India. No military base of Pakistan has been targeted.
According to the information, a total of 9 places have been targeted under this operation. The Indian Army carried out this operation in a very restrained, limited and non-escalatory manner. The special thing was that no Pakistani military establishment was attacked. The government said that India has shown restraint in the selection of targets and the entire process of the operation. After several days of meetings, it seemed that the government would take some big action. That is what happened. The Prime Minister had also said that the terrorists would be punished. The army was given a free hand. It is worth noting that this action of ‘Operation Sindoor’ has been taken after the terrorist attack in which 25 Indians and a Nepali citizen were brutally killed in Pahalgam. After this attack, there was an atmosphere of great anger and resentment across the country. India had already made it clear that those responsible for this attack will be punished, and ‘Operation Sindoor’ is a part of that commitment. The government has said that detailed information on this operation will be given through a press briefing today.
