Dehradun: In the voluntary blood donation camp organized on the birthday of the founder president of Darbar, Dr Mohit Verma (Baba Ji) under the joint aegis of Darbar Baba Mohit (Regd.) located at Majri Grant and associate organization Nav Divyang Seva Sansthan (Regd.), hundreds of sevadars associated with the Darbar and residents of the area got their health checkup done for blood donation.148 people found healthy in the health checkup of 68 people donated blood voluntarily. On Thursday, a voluntary blood donation camp was organized at Darbar Baba Mohit by the team of Government Doon Medical College and Hospital. Before blood donation, the blood bank team of the hospital checked the blood donors’ hemoglobin, blood pressure, weight and blood sugar. Also, the medical team provided the blood donors with necessary information related to blood donation. Dr Mohit Baba, founder president of Darbar, said that health camps have been organized from time to time in the Darbar. Blood donation camps are organized four times a year in the Darbar. So that the needy people can be helped by providing them blood on time. Dr Mohit Baba said that his aim is that every person in life should pledge to donate blood while alive and donate eyes after death. On this occasion, social worker Dr Raje Negi associated with the court told that Dr Mohit Baba himself filled the pledge form for eye donation under the Eye Donation Fortnight. He said that Eye Donation Fortnight is going on in the whole country from 25 August to 8 September 2024, under which all the people are made aware about eye donation.
On this occasion, the medical team of the blood bank included Dr Nitesh Gupta, Counselor Amita Saklani, Technician Saurav Manori, Deepak Raj Jagwan, Ganesh Godiyal, Parmindra, Vijay Negi, CM Bisht. Secretary of the Darbar Chatar Singh Verma, President of Nav Divyang Seva Sansthan Ajay Kumar, Darbar Manager Aditya Johar, Saurav Joshi, Kishan Negi, Dhirendra Panwar, Manjeet Singh, Nagendra Kumar, Saurav Karki, Himanshu Verma, Kamal Arora, Rita Pal, Poonam Bhola, Vandana Joshi, Seema Pal, Amit Rawal, Manoj Pal, Manoj Negi along with other sevadaars associated with the Darbar helped in making the blood donation camp successful.
