Rishikesh/Bhubaneswar: Parmarth Niketan President Swami Chidanand Saraswati was awarded the honorary degree of D.Litt by Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences. Swami Chidananda Saraswati, while addressing thousands of students present at the third convocation ceremony of Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences, said that Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences was honored with the 18th Energy Globe World Award 2017, at that time. Swami Chidanand Saraswati said that the principle of KISS University is to eradicate hunger through education but the way this university has established India at the global level is truly exemplary. Through this temple of education, not only the hunger for education has been awakened in the tribal/tribal communities but also the study of various streams like tribal culture, spirituality, philosophy, environment, technology management, language, heritage, law etc., for graduation, masters, PhD and By getting M.Phil done, you have spread the light of education and lit the lamp of education in hearts, that is a wonderful work. Besides, efforts are being made to keep the ancient culture of India alive and to connect the young generation with their roots, values, traditions and environment so that their culture can be kept alive.

Addressing the youth, Swami said that ‘do not run away but wake up’ from problems and challenges, face them and move forward. Youth should be dedicated, loyal, dutiful and energetic towards their work, utilize time, recognize opportunities, also become educated, updated and uplifted and keep their spiritual and cultural aspects strong. In fact, today India needs such courageous and focused and concentrated youth. Those who collide with rocks are called storms and those who collide with storms are called youth, this is possible only when we are focused, strong from within and concentrated and all these qualities come by staying connected to our roots, culture and values. If the youth of any nation are aware, loyal and dedicated towards their goals, then that country can touch the pinnacle of progress, hence it is very important for the youth to develop a sense of dedication towards the country along with their success. Along with inspiring today’s youth to achieve their goals, it will also inspire them to deal with future challenges and increase their spiritual strength and physical strength because the identity, qualifications and capabilities of a country increase with the level of education of its citizens. Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences is a higher education institution deemed-to-be-university located in Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
