Amritsar: Fugitive Amritpal Singh arrested from Moga Gurudwara, will be sent to Assam’s Dibrugarh Jail was absconding since March 18


Amritsar: After 36 days, the Punjab Police has arrested the heir Punjab de Chief #AmritpalSingh. Khalistan supporter Amritpal Singh has been arrested by Punjab Police after being taken into custody from Gurdwara in Moga.

Amritpal was declared a proclaimed offender by the Punjab Police. Amritpal was absconding for 36 days after the Ajnala incident. Kirandeep Kaur, the fugitive’s wife, was stopped at Amritsar airport three days back on Thursday. All the comrades from Amritsar have already been arrested. His companions were being interrogated continuously. It is believed that only after the police started pressurizing his wife, he also came into custody. According to sources, Amritpal will be sent to Dibrugarh jail in Assam. When he was absconding, he had released videos several times through social media.
First of all, the police had laid a trap on March 18 to catch Amritpal Singh and his associates. During this the police arrested many of his associates but Amritpal managed to escape.
