Rishikesh: The country’s first #heli #ambulance medical service #’Sanjeevani’, which started on 29 October on #Dhanteras this year, has saved the lives of many people so far. This service can be easily availed by calling the toll free number 18001804278 which works 24 hours. Apart from this, the institute has now also released a WhatsApp number, in which the details of the concerned patient can also be sent. The heli ambulance medical service of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (#AIIMS #Rishikesh) was started on 29 October 2024. Prime Minister Narendra Modi presented this gift to the people of Uttarakhand on the occasion of Dhanvantari Diwas by inaugurating it through virtual medium. Since then, this service, in keeping with its name ‘Sanjeevani’, has given life saving relief to many people trapped in crisis. It is notable that AIIMS Rishikesh is the first government health institution in the country to have heli ambulance medical service under Aero Medical Service. Toll free number 18001804278 has been issued for this service which is being operated in partnership with the Central and State Government.
