Delhi: PM Modi met BJP MPs from Delhi, Haryana, Uttarakhand and Odisha

New Delhi : Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday met BJP MPs from Delhi, Haryana, Uttarakhand and Odisha over breakfast at his official residence here. Sources said that all the MPs of both the houses of Parliament and Union Minister Prahlad Joshi were present in the meeting.
It is learned that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MPs asked to strengthen the organization at the grassroots level and connect with the people. Sources said, Prime Minister Modi asked the MPs to reach out to the people with the development and welfare measures of the government. He asked all the MPs present in the meeting to tell the people about the development and welfare schemes of the central government. PM Modi also asked the MPs of four states to ensure that development and welfare measures reach the people.
Party insiders said the prime minister has also discussed their functioning and advised how to further improve it for the benefit of the command man.The Prime Minister and the MPs also discussed important issues related to their respective states.
A party official said it was a courtesy call and the prime minister regularly calls such meetings with MPs from different states during the Parliament session. Recently, the Prime Minister met party MPs from Gujarat.
