Delhi: Father murdered 3-month-old son in Delhi, arrested

New Delhi : A shocking incident has come to light in the northern area of the national capital, where a father brutally murdered his 3-month-old son. The accused Ravi Rai has been arrested by the police. The police gave this information here on Tuesday. According to the official, a call was received at Bhalswa Dairy police station at around 10.30 pm on the night of December 3. In which it was told that a man killed his son on Mangal Bazar Road in Samta Vihar, Delhi.

On the basis of information, the police went to the spot, where they found the accused in an inebriated condition. “The child was immediately rushed to the city’s Babu Jagjivan Ram Memorial Hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead,” the official said. According to the Medico-Legal Case (MLC), the child’s skull was found to be broken. An FIR has been registered under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and investigation has been initiated.

At the same time, neighbors told the police, “The couple used to quarrel every day. Husband and wife were present inside the room along with the child on the day of the incident.”Suddenly, the neighbors heard a loud cry. Meanwhile, the mother of the deceased child came out of her house and raised an alarm that her child had died. Sources said that the accused slammed his son’s head on the wall, breaking his skull. Due to which he died.

During investigation, it came to light that the family – the man (accused), wife and their 3-month-old son had recently come to live in this area and were living there for the past one month. The accused lived at home while his wife worked in Azadpur Mandi. Further, Police is investigating the matter.
