Delhi: CM Dhami participated in “Panchjanya Media Conclave”, said there is no place in Uttarakhand for criminals
New Delhi: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in the “Panchjanya Media Conclave” organized in Chanakyapuri, Delhi on Sunday. In the conclave, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami interacted on various political and strategic issues of the state. During the program, the Chief Minister said that under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Uttarakhand is making all-round development, it is the endeavor of the government that in the coming times, Uttarakhand should be included in the best states of the country in every field.
Talking about law and order in Uttarakhand, he said that strict action is being taken by the state police against law breakers, there is no place for criminals in Uttarakhand. He said that after taking oath of Chief Sevak for the second time, a special drive was run by the police under which re-verification of people is being done in Uttarakhand. The Chief Minister said that we are also working towards making the law of conversion more strict.Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that Uttarakhand is Dev Bhoomi. It is the center of spirituality, religion and culture. Here on an average, one person in every family is dedicated to the service of the country by joining the army. The Chief Minister said that we are going to constitute a committee to prepare a draft for implementing a uniform law in Uttarakhand. We want other states of the country to implement common civil code in their respective states.
Responding to the questions related to land law, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that our government has formed a high level committee for this. Soon we will bring a law on this in the interest of the state. The Chief Minister said that the geographical location of Uttarakhand is very different as compared to other states, maximum area of the state is mountainous, the government is trying to take care of industrialization, expansion and employment in the state.
