Delhi : CBI arrested FCI DGM Rajeev Mishra, raided more than 50 locations, recovered 60 lakhs
New Delhi: The CBI has arrested FCI DGM Rajeev Mishra in connection with the scam by supplying substandard food grains by FCI. 60 lakh rupees have been recovered in raids at more than 50 places across the country.
The CBI on Wednesday raided more than 50 places across the country including Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and Chandigarh in the FCI (Food Corporation of India) scam case. The investigating agency has arrested FCI DGM Rajeev Mishra. Rajeev Mishra has been accused of involvement in a nexus of FCI officials, grain traders, millers and food grain distributors. The nexus is alleged to be involved in the supply of substandard food grains. During the raid, the CBI has recovered Rs 60 lakh and gold ornaments. CBI action is going on.
