Delhi : Former CM Punjab Captain Amarinder Singh joins BJP also merged his party

New Delhi :  Former Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh joined the BJP. Along with this, he also merged his party Punjab Lok Congress with BJP. He had met the top leadership of the BJP.

Former Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh joined the BJP. Along with this, he also merged his party Punjab Lok Congress with BJP. Captain Amarinder Singh joined the Bharatiya Janata Party in the presence of Union Ministers Narendra Singh Tomar, Kiren Rijiju, BJP leader Sunil Jakhar and BJP’s Punjab chief Ashwini Sharma. During this, the Union Ministers welcomed him with bouquets and garlands. Former Congressman and Deputy Speaker of Punjab Assembly Ajaib Singh Bhatti also joined BJP.

On this occasion, former Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh also spoke on the threat from Pakistan in Punjab. He said that China also remains a constant threat to us. He questioned AK Antony, who was the Defense Minister during the Congress rule. He said that no step was taken in the show of purchase of arms. BJP is working to protect the country. I am grateful to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and party president JP Nadda. He said that I hope that we will be able to play a better role in the elections to be held in the neighboring states. On this occasion, Union Minister Kiren Rijiju said that our thinking is that the country should be united. A sensitive state like Punjab needs a lot of care. Rijiju said that while being the Chief Minister, Captain Amarinder Singh did not give importance to politics before the security of the country.

On this occasion, Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Tomar said that Captain Amarinder joining BJP means that he is in favor of peace and security in Punjab. Tomar said that his arrival will increase the strength of the Bharatiya Janata Party and will be a historic step for development in Punjab. He further said that the Bharatiya Janata Party is a party in which it has always been proudly said that the nation is first and the party second. Captain Amarinder Singh Ji always adopted this principle in his life. The result of this is that today we are all together.
