Delhi: AAP MLA Atishi praises ‘Delhi Model’ in UN General Assembly, CM Kejriwal praises


New Delhi: AAP MLA from Delhi’s Kalkaji seat, Atishi, shared the video of her speech at the UNGA on Twitter, saying that the ‘Delhi model’ can provide insights to solve problems.

After India, the echo of the ‘Delhi model’ has been heard in the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA). Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Atishi, in her address at the UNGA, highlighted the merits of Kejriwal’s governance model in Delhi. Delhi Chief Minister and AAP’s national convener Kejriwal has congratulated Atishi for this achievement. Atishi, the MLA from Kalkaji seat, is a graduate of Oxford University. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Friday praised Atishi after addressing the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) and said that today the world is turning to Delhi for solutions in many areas of urban governance.

looking at Re-tweeting a post containing Atishi’s speech at UNGA, Kejriwal said, “Proud moment for India. Delhi and AAP have made Indians proud. The world is now looking to Delhi for solutions in many areas of urban governance. We will all learn from each other to make the world a better place.” Congratulating Atishi for this achievement, Kejriwal said, “Very good Atishi. This is a very proud moment. Many congratulations for making the world aware of the potential of the country including the sentiments of the people of Delhi and the country on such a big international platform. The country wants such progressive thinking. India now wants to move forward.”
This is not the first time that the AAP government’s Mohalla Clinic initiative and reforms in school education have won international applause. Atishi shared the video of her speech at the UNGA on Twitter and said that the “Delhi model” can provide insights to solve problems.
MLA Atishi said, “It is an honor to present the change brought by Arvind Kejriwal government to the at UN Mahasabha in Delhi. I believe that the ‘Delhi Model’ will solve the problems faced by many countries across the world. to provide insight.”
