Dehradun : The Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has thanked the Union Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat for the construction of two bathing ghats worth 3.62 crores at Jhankaiyan place adjoining Khatima in the border area of ​​the state and approval of Ghat cleaning project costing 2.50 crores in Rishikesh.

It is to be noted that in a meeting held in New Delhi under the chairmanship of Rajiv Ranjan Mishra, Director General, National Mission for Clean Ganga, the approval of the Bathing Ghat project at a cost of Rs. Under this project, two bathing ghats of 40 meters each will be constructed. It is worth mentioning that this ghat is very important from the strategic point of view due to its proximity to the Indo-Nepal border.

Along with this, the Ghat Cleaning Project has also been approved for cleaning the Ghats in Rishikesh, the city of Yoga. Ghat cleaning project will be implemented in Rishikesh for two years at a cost of about 2.5 crores, in which 70 percent will be from the center and 30 percent from the state.
