Dehradun: Two girls from Bihar arrested for stealing in warehouse

Dehradun: In a horrific incident, the city police have arrested two girls from Bihar who stole cosmetic items from a warehouse located near a beauty parlor. The stolen goods worth Rs 45,000 have been recovered from the girls.

According to the police, Kashi Ram Thakur, a resident of Nai Basti Patel Nagar, complained that his beauty parlor shop is in the name of Swati Beauty Parlor in Jhanda Bazar of Khudbuda Chowki. There is a warehouse nearby. The incident happened on the night of December 11, when women broke the lock in their warehouse and stole cosmetic items. Police have arrested two girls on the basis of CCTV footage and informer’s information. Who has given their name as Aarti and Poonam residents of Khudbuda Mohalla during interrogation. Basically both the girls are residents of Darbhanga in Bihar.

Kotwali in-charge Kailash Chand Bhatt has confirmed the matter. At the same time, the police is gathering information about the criminal history of both the girls.
