Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that in today’s era, social media has a big role in quick communication of information. In furthering the information, its small posts and tweets take them from where to where. He said that social media is also a big medium in spreading information about public welfare schemes to the general public. He also emphasized on better use of accurate content on contemporary topics through technological innovation in this field and ensuring youth’s participation in it. He said that social media posts should be based on facts and should not be misused. The Chief Minister said that the credibility of the people will increase if contemporary topics are presented along with facts.

The Chief Minister said that today the activity of some disruptive and anti-development forces has increased in the field of social media. The Chief Minister said that the language of the content of social media should be simple and accessible, it is a better platform to take social activities to the people through various means of social media. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said in a program related to service, good governance and poor welfare on the completion of 9 years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s successful tenure, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that revolutionary changes in the country under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi. New era and new work culture have developed in the country. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that India has got the opportunity to chair the G-20 under the leadership of the Prime Minister. Because of the comprehensive vision of the Prime Minister, G-20 meetings are being held in every nook and corner of the country. He said that India’s economy was earlier ranked 11th, which has become the fifth ranked economy due to the efficient leadership of the Prime Minister.

He said that like the Chardham Yatra, continuous efforts are being made to increase tourism in Kumaon under the Mandir Mala Mission. The Chief Minister said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made the dream of reaching the mountains by train come true. Today, work is going on fast on the Rishikesh-Karnprayag rail project and Tanakpur-Bageshwar rail project which is strategically and geographically important. Similarly, work on the Char Dham All Weather Road, Bharat Mala Project is also being done at a fast pace. Char Dham Yatra is the lifeline for Uttarakhand and these projects, while facilitating Char Dham Yatra, will promote tourism, will also bring revolutionary changes in our economy. After Prime Minister Narendra Modi became the Prime Minister, schemes worth about one and a half lakh crores were approved, which shows his attachment to Uttarakhand.
