Dehradun : Rs. 36 crores was distributed to 5.40 lakh beneficiaries under the Covid relief package

Dehradun :  Under the Covid relief package announced by the Chief Minister, an amount of 136 crores was distributed to 5.40 lakh beneficiaries.

Department-wise review of the announcements made by the Chief Minister under the Covid relief package was done by Additional Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan at the Secretariat on Thursday. He also directed all the concerned departmental officers to complete the announcements made by the Chief Minister without any delay. During the review of the announcements made by the Chief Minister under the Covid Relief Package, it was informed by the Tourism Department that a total of 20810 beneficiaries including persons involved in various activities of tourism business, tour operators, vote operators, etc. 13.39 crore and Virchandra Singh Garhwali and Deen Dayal Home. 1.33 crore has been released as interest reimbursement to 590 beneficiaries under the stay scheme. Under the Transport Department, an amount of 6.68 crores was given as financial assistance to the drivers, operators, cleaners of 32486 public service vehicles, 21 lakh to 1030 cultural parties of the Culture Department, 42 to 420 vote operators registered in Naukuchiatal, Bhimtal, Sattal etc. under the Urban Development Department.

Lakhs, an amount of 2.79 crore has been released to 2318 beneficiaries under Mukhyamantri Vatsalya Yojana under Women and Child Development Department. During the review, it was told by the Rural Development Department that 20.58 crore as interest reimbursement to 217526 self-help groups under Rural Livelihood Mission, 7.95 crore as one time grant to 65186 CLFs under Rural Livelihood Mission and 459 Rural Development Officers, Gram Panchayat Officer and Assistant Development Officers will get Rs. An amount of 45.90 crores has been released as incentive amount of 10 thousand.

Similarly, 3.33 crore to 33297 Anganwadi workers, mini workers and assistants of Women’s Empowerment and Child Development Department at the rate of one thousand per employee, 3.33 crore to 33297 Anganwadi workers and mini workers and assistants at the rate of two thousand per employee, 6.66 crore to Medical and Health Department. Under this, 12.53 crores for 5 months to 12529 Asha workers etc. at the rate of two thousand per month, 1.20 crores to 11983 Asha workers on Raksha Bandhan at the rate of one thousand, 1087 Yuvak Mangal Dal of Youth Welfare Department, 6 months to women Mangal parties. 1.55 crore as financial assistance and 1.34 crore as one-time incentive amount of ten thousand to 1347 Patwari Lekhpal, Revenue Inspector and Naib Tehsildar under Revenue Department.
