Dehradun : Regarding upcoming assembly elecctions meeting was attended with all DM’s by Chief Secretary Dr.S.S.Sandhu

Dehradun : Under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Dr. S.S.Sandhu, a meeting was held with all the district magistrates in the secretariat regarding the preparations for the assembly elections. The Chief Secretary directed all the district magistrates that all the roads and tracking routes should be repaired by December 31, so that the polling team and the voters do not face any problem.

The Chief Secretary directed that the posting of Returning Officer, Assistant Returning Officer and Nodal Officer should be ensured by December 12, along with the officers who are posted in home districts or who have been more than 3 years at the same place, They must be transferred at the earliest. The Chief Secretary also directed to ensure the availability of assured minimum facilities (ramp, electricity, drinking water, toilet etc.) in each booth by December 21, 2021. He said that sensitive and sensitive areas should be identified from the point of view of elections. Along with this, organize border coordination meetings by December 20 for district cooperation with other states. On this occasion Chief Electoral Officer Smt. Sowjanya and other concerned officers were also present.
