Dehradun : In view of the speed of Corona in Uttarakhand, the state government has banned political rallies, picketing demonstrations till January 16. Along with this, all educational institutions from Anganwadi centers to 12th will also remain closed till this period. On Friday, a new guide line of covid has been issued by Chief Secretary SS Sandhu. All the district magistrates have been asked to strictly follow the night curfew from 10 pm to 6 am. Gyms, shopping malls, cinema halls, spas, salons, amusement parks, theaters, auditoriums and related activities will operate with 50 percent capacity. Swimming pool, water park will remain closed till January 16.

    Sports institutes will be opened with 50 percent capacity for training of players in the sports ground.
  • All public functions, entertainment, educational, cultural activities are not allowed till January 16.Marriage Ceremony Allowed for persons up to 50 per cent capacity.Hotels, restaurants, eateries, dhabas allowed with 50 percent capacity.
  • Operation of conference halls, spas and gyms in hotels with 50% capacity.

Strictness on those coming from outside states-
Those people coming to Uttarakhand from outside states, who do not have the certificate of both the doses of Covid vaccination, will be allowed to enter the state with the RTPCR negative report 72 hours earlier.

Strict action against those who break the protocol-
In view of the increasing cases of Omicron, all public places, tourist places, markets, bus stands, railway stations, mandis, shopping malls and other crowded places will have to strictly follow the covid protocol mask, social distance, sanitizing hands. . Strict action will be taken against violators of covid curfew. Also, the use of masks will be mandatory in public transport, public places, workplaces.

Recruitment examinations will be held during this period-
Chief Secretary SS Sandhu said that if the dates of written examinations are fixed for any recruitment during this period, then they will be as per the pre-determined schedule.
