Program was organised on the successful tenure of the Fourth Legislative Assembly of Uttarakhand


Dehradun : Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami attended the gratitude program organized by the Speaker of Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly at Yamuna Colony on Tuesday evening on the successful tenure of the Fourth Legislative Assembly of Uttarakhand.

The Chief Minister said that the Speaker of the Vidhan Sabha, Prem Chand Aggarwal, gave equal respect to the members of the party and the opposition in the assembly and kept a sense of affinity towards all the members. He said that the Speaker of the Assembly also had a special affection for him. Apart from taking the initiative to conduct sustainable development program in the assembly, every month, through yoga, initiatives were taken in the direction of physical health and environment. The initiative to hoist the 101 feet high national flag in the assembly was also taken by the Speaker.

He also thanked the officers and personnel of the Vidhan Sabha on this occasion. The Chief Minister said that on July 4, he has started the journey of overall development of the state as a chief servant, in which he is getting the blessings of all the elders and the affection of the people. The Chief Minister said that the development of the state is not his personal journey but it is a collective journey of all of us. Referring to the efforts being made for the overall development of the state, the Chief Minister said that we are all partners and partners in the overall development of the state. According to the vision of the Prime Minister, we are constantly striving to make Uttarakhand one of the leading states of the country in 2025. The Chief Minister said that Kashi Vishwanath Dham has been rejuvenated under the guidance of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Ram temple is being constructed in Ayodhya, Kedarnath reconstruction work is in final stage. The foundation stone of 400 crore schemes has been inaugurated by the Prime Minister here. A plan of 250 crores has been made for the beautification of Badrinath Dham. In this way, the work of upliftment of the ancient culture is being done in the country. It is also a time of celebration of our culture. On this occasion, the Chief Minister also honored Yogacharyas and Vidhan Sabha personnel.
Expressing gratitude to all, Speaker of the Vidhan Sabha Prem Chand Aggawal said that it was his endeavor that all the members in the Vidhan Sabha should get equal opportunity to express their views. His effort has also been to give respect to all respected MLAs. It was also his effort to make the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly according to Devbhoomi. He said that the members of the Legislative Assembly also showed seriousness in the conduct of the business of the Legislative Assembly and should be helpful in maintaining the dignity of the House. He also thanked the Chief Minister for his cooperation by giving maximum time in the Vidhan Sabha. He said that we all have the urge to take Uttarakhand forward.
On this occasion, Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi, Swami Yatishwaranand, MLA Munna Singh Chouhan, Khajan Das, Umesh Sharma Kau, Rajesh Shukla, Munni Devi Shah, Mayor Sunil Uniyal Gama, Chief Secretary Dr. S.S. Sandhu, Additional Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan, Director General of Police Ashok Kumar, Secretary-in-Charge Assembly Mukesh Singhal and many other dignitaries were present.
