Dehradun : Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami welcomed the arrival of Bharatiya Janata Party National President JP Nadda to Dehradun. JP Nadda will take information about the party’s election preparation and the status of MLAs in each assembly constituency. This round of marathon meetings will last about five to six hours. BJP National President JP Nadda has reached Dehradun on Sunday. On Sunday, after listening to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Mann Ki Baat, the era of marathon meetings started. His visit is considered very important in terms of preparations for the assembly elections. Nadda will test the strength of BJP in 41 assembly seats of Garhwal Mandal.
According to the party’s State General Secretary Kuldeep Kumar, preparations for the national president’s stay have been completed. Nadda will start the meetings in a hotel located on Rajpur Road. According to sources, Nadda will take information about the party’s election preparation and the status of MLAs in each assembly constituency. This round of marathon meetings will last about five to six hours.
In-charge and Vistaar will give ground feedback-
The party has called all the assembly constituency in-charges and vistarak posted on 41 seats of Garhwal division, besides migrant workers. District heads have also been invited to the meeting. Nadda will sit with the team of each Vidhan Sabha in-charge, Vistarak and District President and take ground reports from them.
Feedback of survey with Nadda, local BJP will not be able to deceive-
According to sources, JP Nadda has the feed back of all 70 assembly seats in the state. This feedback has been prepared by the party on the basis of various survey reports and information received from the organizational network. Since the national president has his own feedback, the local BJP people will not be able to trick him. Nadda will collate his feedback with the team deployed during the last three months and on that basis will suggest a new election strategy.
Nadda will test the preparation on these criteria-
Nadda will examine the preparations of the assembly constituency wise party. Their first criterion will be the issues of the assembly constituency. The second criterion will be the impact of decisions and policies of the central and state governments. Organizational network in the assembly, ticket contenders, anti-incumbency trends against MLAs, strength of opposition parties, weaknesses of the party, Nadda will weigh the party’s strength on all these criteria.
Will take feedback from CM and State President-
Party’s national president JP Nadda will take feedback from Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and state president Madan Kaushik after reviewing all the 41 seats in Garhwal Mandal. In this meeting, the state general secretary organization and all the state general ministers of the party will also attend. In this meeting, Nadda will give directions to the provincial top leadership of the party on the basis of the assembly-wise feedback received.
Harak Singh can take the report of the case-
National President JP Nadda can take a report from the party regarding the resignation episode of cabinet minister Harak Singh Rawat. Just before his visit, the discussion of Harak Singh Rawat’s displeasure and resignation has kept the politics hot. There is a lot of uneasiness in the BJP too. Nadda can take information from party leaders regarding all aspects related to this episode.
There can also be talk on the tickets of ministers and senior MLAs-
Although the state organization is talking about discussion only about the election preparations in the meeting of Nadda, but sources say that there can be talks on the tickets of the ticket contenders and ministers, senior MLAs as well. All the district heads have received applications for ticket claim from the assembly seats. On the basis of these applications, Nadda can take a list of the names of strong contenders from the district heads.
