Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Friday flagged off the MTB Cycling Expedition team of NIM, going on a tour of Uttarakhand to promote social awareness, at the Camp Office, Chief Minister’s residence, Dehradun.

It is worth mentioning that under the ‘Vibrant Village Scheme’ launched by the Central Government, the comprehensive development of the border village and improving the quality of life of the people living in the identified border villages, employment at the local level, increasing tourism, youth under Swasth Bharat Abhiyan. The said campaign is being organized by NIM with the aim of increasing health awareness with adventure activities in the classes. There are total 06 members in the said campaign. This campaign will be completed passing through 11 districts of the state. This campaign will be launched from Vibrant Village.

In which a total of 1064 kilometers will be cycled. During this campaign, dialogues and discussions with the students of Garhwal University, Kumaon Universities, and faculty members located in both Garhwal and Kumaon divisions along with creation of employment with the concept of “Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat” are also included. During this program Colonel Anshuman Bhadoria, Principal Nim, Major Deval Bajpai, Vice Principal Nim, Rakesh Rana, Deep Bahadur Shahi, and others were present.
