Dehradun : A friendly Cricket Match was played between Chief Minister-XI and BJYM-XI, CM XI won the match by 4 runs


Dehadun : On Tuesday, a friendly cricket match was played between Chief Minister-XI and BJYM-XI at Abhimanyu Cricket Academy, Dehradun. Chief Minister XI won this match by 4 runs.
Batting first in the 7 overs match, under the captaincy of Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami, the Chief Minister’s XI team scored 49 runs for the loss of 02 wickets. Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami scored 14 not out. Chasing the target, BJYM-XI under the leadership of BJYM national president Tejashwi Surya could score 45 runs in the stipulated 7 overs losing 01 wicket.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that just as sports enhances brotherhood, similarly the purpose of such events is to increase brotherhood in social and political life. A cricket friendly match was played between both the teams today. The Chief Minister said that our aim is to make continuous development of Uttarakhand and reach the people till the last line. A new sports policy has been brought to promote sports in the state. Efforts have been made to provide all kinds of facilities to the players in the new sports policy.
Many schemes are being run to bring the youth forward. On this occasion, the Chief Minister also honored the players of Uttarakhand who played in Ranji and Indian team.
On this occasion, Cabinet Minister Subodh Uniyal, MLA Khajandas, Sahdev Singh Pundir, Deshraj Karnwal, office bearers of BJP BJYM and officers of CM office were present.
