Chamoli :  Himwant Kavi Chandrakunwar Bartwal Khadi Village Industries and Tourism Sharadotsav Mela started with colorful cultural programs. Chief Minister  Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurated this five-day fair organized by Pokhari Nagar Panchayat. Regional MLA Mahendra Prasad Bhatt, Zip President Raghuveer Singh Bisht, Nagar Panchayat President Laxmi Prasad Pant, Cooperative Bank President Gajendra Singh Bisht and senior regional public representatives were present on the occasion.

When the Chief Minister reached Pokhari, the people of the area gave him a grand welcome. During this, the Chief Minister inaugurated the Tourist Accommodation House constructed at a cost of Rs 97.30 lakh in Pokhari, while declaring the Pokhari fair as a state fair, giving an amount of 2 lakh this year and also announced various development schemes for the development of the area. During the program, the Chief Minister also inaugurated a three-day star gazing and astro photography event to be organized at Benital from the evening of December 7. Many recreational activities including khadi, industry and other departments stalls, charkhi, children’s swing, circus, sports and cultural programs are attracting people in the fair.

The Chief Minister while addressing the gathering said that the poet of nature, Chandra Kunwar Bartwal, had given Hindi literature a rich treasure of priceless poems at the age of 28. The love of nature is reflected in his poems. In this short journey of life, he has created a history by writing more than seven hundred poems, songs, Muktaks, essays etc. Chandra Kunwar Bartwal, the immortal singer of Kafal Pakyo, has made the life of Himalayas come true in his timeless poems. Snow-covered rock peaks, rivers that flow forever, long, wide waving pastures, pines, oaks, burrows, dense forests of pines, valleys full of colorful flowers, animal birds, changing of seasons, thunderous thunder all The miraculous depiction of this is found in his poems.

Government working for rural development-

The Chief Minister Dhami said that our government is working continuously with the Bharat Uday Mission from Gramodaya. Many schemes have been started for the welfare of the poor through the Central and State Governments. Flexibility has been provided in the rules for setting up small and cottage industries. So that even in our remote mountains, cottage and small scale industries can be set up and more and more people can get self-employment. The government is working to increase the home stay in the mountains.

He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, many works are being done in our state as well as in the whole country. If anyone has done the work of giving free gas connections to mothers and sisters, then it has been done by Prime Minister Modi of Bharat Mata. He said that Ayushman Bharat scheme has been started so that no patient is deprived of treatment. Those families who are not able to get treatment, those families are being given free treatment up to 5 lakhs. In view of the long standing demands, our government has done the work of increasing the honorarium of PRD jawans, Upal workers, village heads, three-tier Panchayat representatives, ASHA, Anganwadi workers, food mothers.

Dedicated every decision to the public-

He said that after becoming my chief servant, the government has taken more than 500 public interest decisions and every decision of ours is dedicated to the public. He said that the schemes are being run by the government keeping in mind every section of the society. He said that we are managing the financial expenditure for each announcement in a pre-planned manner, due to which all our announcements are getting off the ground.

Uttarakhand’s third decade of 21st century

He said that Prime Minister Modi has given a message to the whole world that the third decade will belong to Uttarakhand. When the state is celebrating its 25th foundation day, then the state will be a leading and ideal state in all the fields of the country. He said that under the leadership of the Prime Minister, the third decade of the 21st century will be the decade of Uttarakhand, which will become number one in various sectors like tourism, health, education, employment, agriculture. He said that through the Bodhisattva thought chain, the government is taking suggestions from experienced people who have worked in various fields. Said that our government is dedicated in the service of the public at all times. It is our vow that whatever time we have, we should dedicate every moment and moment in the service of the people of Uttarakhand. He said that our government is working on providing employment to the youth. Loans are being distributed in every district for youth under Mukhyamantri Swarozgar Yojana for recruitment to 24000 vacant posts in various departments and to connect youth with self-employment. During the program, the Chief Minister honored the father of Shaheed Yogember Singh Bhandari by presenting him a shawl.

During this, the Chief Minister also announced the following development schemes for the development of the area.

1- Declaring the Himwant Kavi Chandrakunwar Bartwal Khadi, Village Industries and Tourism Sharadotsav Mela in Pokhari as a state fair, announced to give Rs 2 lakh to the fair committee this year.

2- The Government Industrial Training Institute, Tapovan Dhak (Joshimath) will be named after the former Chairman of Badrinath Kedarnath Temple Committee, Late Mohan Prasad Thapliyal.

3- A primary health center will be opened in Nailsankari in the memory of the immortal martyr soldier Yogember Singh Bhandari.

4- The first phase of the motor road will be constructed from gas godown to Regarh in Joshimath block.

5- Surface improvement and protective work will be done in km 7 and 8 of Paleti-Sartoli motor road of Dasholi block.

6- New construction of Kandai motor road (2nd stage) will be done from Bandwara of development block Dasholi.

A motor road will be constructed in Mehr village from Juna-Digoli Mo. Marg of 7-development block Dasholi.

8- The new construction of the PVT Virsan Sera motor road (1st phase) will be done through the Simkholi band of the Udamanda-Simkholi-Chopda motor road of Pokhari block.

9- Virasan motorway will be constructed from Naldunga to Udamanda-Routa-Chopda motor road of Pokhari block.

10- From the Pokhari-Gopeshwar motor road to Dumbra village from the development block (the first phase) new construction of the motorway will be done.

11-State Pvt. Sartoli will be elevated.

12- A mobile veterinary center will be opened in Durmi valley of Nijmula.

Expressing gratitude to the Chief Minister, Badrinath MLA Mahendra Prasad Bhatt and Nagar Panchayat President Laxmi Prasad Pant presented shawls, moments and a picture of Chandra Kunwar Bartwal. The Panda priests of the same Chardham, expressing their gratitude to the CM, presented the religious flag and angavastra. The residents of the area gave a grand welcome to the Chief Minister on his first arrival in the area with traditional Pandav Dhol Damau and Pandav dance. The program was conducted by Anand Rana.

During this, Rural Circle President Virendra Pal Bhandari, City President Jitendra Sati, District Magistrate Himanshu Khurana, Superintendent of Police Yashwant Singh Chauhan, CDO Varun Chaudhary, Joint Magistrate Abhinav Shah etc. were present along with other senior regional public representatives.
