Barmer : A medical student Sunita Meena committed suicide in Barmer Medical College in Rajasthan. MBBS second year student of Barmer Medical College has committed suicide in Room 2 of Girls Hostel. A suicide note was also found from the room. After the suicide, the students of Girls Hostel are in shock. After the information, the police also reached the spot. The police informed the family members.

On Monday, in the Girls Hostel of the Medical College, student Sunita had come to the hostel at around 3 pm after going to the college. Since then she was in her hostel room. When she did not come for tea till late in the evening, the staff of the Girls Hostel called for opening the room’s gate. When there was no sound, when I saw through the mesh above the gate, the body was hanging from the hook of the fan. The staff informed the principal of the medical college, Dr. RK Aseri. On receiving the information, SDM Rohit Kumar and police reached the spot. Police have taken the student’s body in possession and kept it in the mortuary.

Sunita has also left a suicide note in the room. Although the police have not disclosed much about it yet, but according to preliminary information, Sunita, while addressing her parents in the suicide note, has written – Papa-mummy, forgive me. I could not live up to your belief. You take care of yourself. Sorry mom and dad, I am taking this step. According to Rural Police Officer Parbat Singh, Sunita committed suicide by making a noose of chunari in the room of the Girls Hostel of the Medical College. Student Sunita Meena was 19 years old and was a resident of Khetri in Jhunjhunu. A suicide note has been found. Further action will be taken based on the report of the family members. The reasons for the suicide have not been disclosed.

According to the information received from the hostel, student Sunita had gone to her house in Khetri in Jhunjhunu on 24 November. About 10 days later, on December 3, she came back to Barmer. On the third day of coming to Barmer, Sunita committed suicide. Sunita was living alone in the room.
