Tehri : Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami laid the foundation stone and inaugurated various development schemes at Aman Residency Lodge, Chamiala under Vidhan Sabha Ghansali. On this occasion, the Chief Minister inaugurated a total of 7 schemes costing 3 crore 38 lakhs.

While a total of 21 schemes costing 74 crore 55 lakh were laid. In the launch, 6 schemes of Rural Works Department and one scheme of Minor Irrigation Department are included. 15 of the Public Works Department, 4 of the Rural Works Department and one scheme each of Jal Sansthan and Jal Nigam are included in the foundation stone laying. The Chief Minister said that when the state of Uttarakhand would be celebrating its 25th foundation day, then the state would be a leading and ideal state in all fields of the country. The Prime Minister, Narendra Modi said that the third decade of the 21st century will be the decade of Uttarakhand. The government is determined to do this. The government is working by setting the target of development in each area. Under which each department has been asked to prepare a road map for the coming 10 years. He said that people’s opinion and dialogue play a very important role in development.

He said that the government has started the Bodhisattva Thought Chain Program for how to work in coordination between the government and the people in the coming years on all issues like migration, employment, health education. Through which the government is taking suggestions from experienced people who have worked in various fields, he said that on the basis of this development plan will be made. He said that our government will act on the suggestions received from every person.

The Chief Minister said that all the announcements that are being made, all those mandates are also being done on time. Their financial assessment is also done before every announcement. He said that we are working on public policy in politics. The Chief Minister said that in view of the long standing demands, the government has done the work of increasing the honorarium of PRD jawans, Upnal workers, village heads, Anganwadi workers. He said that our government has also done the work of increasing the pension given to the Uttarakhand agitators. He said that a new sports policy has been brought in the state to promote sports talent.

He said that our government is working on providing employment to the youth. He said that the recruitment process is going on for twenty four thousand vacant posts in various departments. He said that the government has also done the work of fulfilling the long standing demand of police recruitment. The Chief Minister said that the government is working to move forward with the mantra of simplification, solution and disposal. In view of the public sentiments of the area, the Chief Minister started the process to include the Ghansali area in the Other Backward Classes (OBC) and talked about reaching the target, and 42 demands made for the development of the area should be included in the proposal.

On this occasion, MLA Ghansali Shakti Lal Shah, District Panchayat President Sona Sajwan, District Magistrate Eva Ashish Shrivastava, SSP Navneet Singh Bhullar, etc. were present.
